TERMS & CONDITIONS (EULA)Last updated: 08/02/20251. Acceptance of TermsBy downloading, accessing, or using the Handover mobile application or related services (the Service), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.These Terms apply to:
• Parents or guardians who create and manage child profiles
• Caregivers who access handovers via a secure link or by creating a caregiver account
• All users on iOS and Android platforms2. Description of the ServiceHandover is a parenting coordination tool designed to help parents share important day-to-day care information about a child with trusted caregivers.Key features include:
• Creating short daily handovers via quick guided inputs
• Sharing handovers via secure links (no app download required for link access)
• Optional caregiver accounts for ongoing access to connected families
• Viewing information only (caregivers cannot edit parent-entered data)Handover is not a medical, health, or professional childcare service.3. User Accounts
3.1 Parent AccountsParents or legal guardians may create an account to:
• Add child profiles
• Create and manage handovers
• Invite caregivers via secure links or app access
• Manage subscriptionsParents are responsible for ensuring all information entered is accurate and appropriate to share.3.2 Caregiver AccountsCaregivers may optionally create an account to:
• View handovers from connected families
• Access information across multiple families in one place
• Receive ongoing access without repeated linksCaregivers acknowledge that:
• All information is provided by parents
• Handover does not verify accuracy
• Caregivers remain responsible for all care decisions4. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Payments
4.1 Free TrialHandover offers a 14-day free trial for eligible users.
At the end of the trial, access to subscription features will automatically continue unless cancelled before the trial ends.4.2 Paid SubscriptionsSome features require a paid subscription, including:
• Ongoing caregiver account access
• Continued use of premium featuresSubscriptions are billed:
• Monthly or annually (as displayed in the app)
• In advance
• Automatically renewing unless cancelled4.3 Payment ProcessingPayments are processed via:
• Apple App Store (iOS)
• Google Play Store (Android)
• Stripe (where applicable)Handover does not store credit card details.4.4 Managing & Cancelling SubscriptionsUsers must manage subscriptions through:
• Apple ID settings (iOS)
• Google Play account (Android)Refunds are subject to Apple and Google’s policies.5. Secure Links & AccessParents may generate secure links to share handovers with caregivers.• Links are intended for trusted recipients only
• Parents are responsible for link sharing
• Handover is not responsible for unauthorised access due to link sharingLinks may expire or be regenerated at any time.6. Data Accuracy & ResponsibilityHandover:
• Does not monitor, verify, or validate care information
• Is not responsible for decisions made based on shared data
• Does not replace professional adviceUsers agree they use the Service at their own discretion.7. Intellectual PropertyAll content, software, features, designs, branding, workflows, and functionality of Handover are the exclusive intellectual property of Handover.You may not:
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to replicate the app
• Create derivative products or competing services based on Handover
• Use branding or concepts without written permissionUnauthorised use may result in account termination and legal action.8. Acceptable UseYou agree not to:
• Misuse the Service
• Share false, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Attempt unauthorised access
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes9. TerminationWe may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.Users may stop using the Service at any time.10. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law:
• Handover is provided “as is”
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
